The participants’ somatometric variables were measured. The functioning of cardiovascular and respiratory systems, insulin resistance, as well as the levels of blood biochemistry, vitamin D, trace element, and basal metabolism were assessed. The subjective tobacco smoking and motor activity rates were also analyzed.</p> <p><bold><italic>RESULTS:</italic></bold> We can conclude that the body systemic functioning is increasingly stressed out with age. The sampled people exhibited higher incidence of arterial hypertension, which was rated in total by subjective systolic and diastolic blood pressure, with the incidence growing with increasing age, from 49% in younger subjects to 108% in older men; more common insulin resistance, from 13% in the youth to 50% in the elderly; elevated blood glucose level which was ranging (29%, 30%, 43% with age, respectively); and deviation of the atherogenicity coefficient rising from 9% to 55%–60% with increasing age. We also observed the same dependence of bronchial obstruction variables on age: from 19% incidence among younger subjects to 71% and 74% in middle-aged and older men, respectfully, with impaired respiratory functioning and consistently high levels (40%–59%) of reported tobacco consumption.</p> <p><bold><italic>CONCLUSION: </italic></bold>The developed matrices illustrate the worsening observed in subjective functional reserves and increasing intensity occurred in body systems of examinees as they grow from ontogenesis of the youth to the elderly.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p><bold>Обоснование.</bold> Крайний Север России имеет ярко выраженные особенности природного и социального характера, негативно воздействующие на функциональное состояние организма человека.</p> <p><bold>Цель.</bold> Оценка медико-физиологических и социальных факторов, определяющих уровень функционального состояния организма жителей-северян различных возрастных групп.</p> <p><bold>Методы.</bold> В исследованиях приняли участие 156 юношей (от 17 до 21 года, средний возраст — 18,5±0,6 года), 56 мужчин трудоспособного возраста (от 34 до 45 лет, средний возраст — 37,4±0,5 года) и 45 мужчин пожилого возраста (от 60 до 77 лет, средний возраст — 65,9±1,1 года) из числа европеоидов, проживающих на территории Магаданской области. Проводили оценку соматометрических характеристик организма, функции сердечно-сосудистой и дыхательной систем, инсулинорезистентности, биохимических показателей крови, концентрации витамина D, микроэлементного профиля, основного обмена, а также анализировали аспекты табакокурения и двигательной активности обследованных лиц.</p> <p><bold>Результаты.</bold> Вектор изменений в работе функциональных систем организма характеризуется возрастанием степени их напряжения с увеличением возраста. В ряду от юношей к мужчинам пожилого возраста повышается частота встречаемости лиц с артериальной гипертензией (в сумме по систолическому и диастолическому артериальному давлению с 49% в группе юношей до 108% в выборке мужчин пожилого возраста), с инсулинорезистентностью (с 13% в группе юношей до 50% в группе пожилых мужчин), с повышенной концентрацией глюкозы в крови (в ряду от юношей к лицам пожилого возраста — 29, 30, 43% соответственно), а также повышается коэффициент атерогенности (увеличение отклонения показателя с 9% до 55–60% в более старших возрастных группах). Для лиц более старшего возраста также установлено повышение индекса бронхообструкции (19% — для юношей, 71% — для мужчин и 74% — для лиц пожилого возраста) на фоне снижения основных показателей функции внешнего дыхания при сохранении стабильно высокого уровня потребления табачных изделий (40–59%).</p> <p><bold>Заключение.</bold> Полученные результаты позволили сформировать матрицы функционального состояния, наглядно демонстрирующие снижение функциональных резервов и возрастание степени напряжения в деятельности анализируемых систем в ряду от представителей юношеского периода онтогенеза до группы лиц пожилого возраста.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>functional state</kwd><kwd>physiological reserves</kwd><kwd>Far North</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>функциональное состояние</kwd><kwd>физиологические резервы</kwd><kwd>Крайний Север</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><award-group><funding-source><institution-wrap><institution xml:lang="ru">Международный арктический научный комитет</institution></institution-wrap><institution-wrap><institution xml:lang="en">International Arctic Science Committee</institution></institution-wrap></funding-source></award-group></funding-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="en">Maksimov AL.
