Methods: Sampling included 430 children and adolescents (age from 7 to 16 years), 192 (45 %) boys, 238 (55 %) girls. 25-OH vitamin D, parathyroid hormone, total calcium, phosphorus, alkaline phosphatase in blood serum concentration was estimated. Results: Normal findings of D vitamin were found in 95 (22 %) surveyed, 25(OH)D deficiency in the blood plasma = 20-30 ng / ml was found in 61 (14 %) surveyed, 25(OH)D deficit = 10-19 ng / ml was detected in 205 (48 %) and 25(OH)D strong deficit &lt; 10 ng / ml - in 68 (16 %) of the examined patients. The absence of parathyroid hormone increase in case of D vitamin deficit was revealed in 96,1 % of surveyed. Conclusion: Low levels of vitamin D were found in children and adolescents in the region, whereas no increase in the level of parathyroid hormone typical for rickets was found.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Цель исследования: выявить зависимость параметров кальций-фосфорного обмена от уровня витамина D у детей и подростков, проживающих в условиях Арктической зоны России. Методы. Выборка включала 430 детей и подростков от 7 до 16 лет: 192 (45 %) мальчика, 238 (55 %) девочек. Проведена оценка уровней 25(OН)D, общего кальция, фосфора, щелочной фосфатазы, паратгормона. Результаты. Нормальные показатели витамина D выявлены у 95 (22 %) обследованных, недостаточность (концентрация 25(OН)D в плазме крови = 20-30 нг/мл) обнаружена у 61 (14 %), дефицит (25(OН)D = 10-19 нг/мл) - у 205 (48 %) и тяжелый дефицит (25(OН)D &lt; 10 нг/мл) - у 68 (16 %). Установлено отсутствие повышения концентрации паратгормона при дефиците витамина D у 96,1 % обследованных.
