Cold trainings raise general nonspecific resistance of a human body. Character of response adaptive shifts depends on initial functional state, including the psychoemotional sphere and the mode of cryogenic sessions. According to the literature data of Russian and European authors, extreme cryotherapy is a universal and effective technique of primary and secondary prevention of a wide range of diseases.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Представлены литературные данные, демонстрирующие особенности модуляции гомеостаза и его нейроэндокринной регуляции в результате использования кратковременных экстремальных общих криогенных воздействий, лежащих в основе повышения общей неспецифической резистентности организма человека. Характер ответных адаптивных сдвигов в значительной степени зависит от исходного функционального состояния, включая психоэмоциональную сферу, и режима холодовых сеансов.
