WORKING CONDITIONS AND OCCUPATIONAL MORBIDITY IN THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

Abstract
Health maintenance and promotion of working populations is one of priority tasks in the Russian Federation. Working conditions of almost 39,7% of the Russian working population do not meet sanitation and hygienic requirements. Inadequate conditions of work cause occupational diseases. Along with that, registered levels of occupational morbidity do not reflect the real situation associated with work environment. Of special concern is concealment of potential cases of occupational diseases by both an employer and employee himself. Regular physical examinations of workers are not of proper quality. To solve the existing problems, “The concept of Russian demographic policy for the period up to 2025” has been adopted.

Abstract
In 2014 we were involved in the studies on health risks for the large industrial city opulation suffering from heavy metals entering the human body, hygienic safety of the water supply system for the rural population, assessment of occupational occupational health risks for workers of oil extraction and petrochemical industries, optimization of health care services provided to agricultural workers by the regional occupational medicine centre. We continued studying the prevalence of cardiovascular diseases among oil and petrochemical workers, molecular and genetic aspects in the development of occupational allergic diseases, occupational liver disorders among industrial workers. Experimental studies on antihypoxic properties of a new complex agent synthesized in the Institute of Organic Chemistry were conducted. Also, experimental studies on hepatoprotective effects and mechanisms of action of oxymethyluracil, complex agents using the model of liver damage caused by tetrachlormethane compared with referent agents were under way. The work on scientific basis of regional ecological and hygienic risks to secure the population was continued.

EXPERIMENTAL AND HYGIENIC CHARACTERISTICS OF PERICLASE-CARBON REFRACTORIES DUST

Abstract
In intratracheal experiment on white rats, it was shown that silica dust causes greater and earlier pneumosclerosis changes compared with the dust on the periclase-carbon refractories on the organic binder (PCR), which are of a slight character, but after 6 months indicated the predominance kataral phenomena in the lung when administered dust PCR. Both dust cause toxic effects on the liver and kidneys. When exposed to dust PCR was an increase in the number of red blood cells and a significant increase in the concentration of hemoglobin. As a result of acute inflamed, and further development of chronic inflammation, in animals of both groups was observed at first increase in leukocytes is statistically significant with the introduction of dust PCR and further reduced compared to control in both groups, more marked in the group "silica".

The study of heavy metals in the soil of Chelyabinsk conducted according to the Regional Information Fund social and hygienic monitoring (SHM RIF) for 2014. The monitoring points are determined by the actual content of total and mobile forms of manganese, zinc, cadmium, mercury, plumbum, arsenic, copper, nickel. Excess of values of background content in Chelyabinsk - plumbum (total form) of 1,7 times, zinc (total form) of 2,6 times and mobile forms of 1,4 times, mercury (total form) of 3,0 times. Excess other metals noted in some areas of the city.

CHARACTERISTICS OF DRINKING WATER QUALITY INFLUENCE ON HUMAN HEALTH

Abstract
There is a direct dependence of human health on the quality of drinking water. There are limits to the concentration of micro and macro, which decrease or increase in drinking water causes certain physiological changes and pathological conditions. When used highly mineralized water may change the electrolyte metabolism, impaired kidney function and cardiovascular system, as well as musculoskeletal and digestive organs. Lack of calcium in drinking water violates funktsionalnoe condition of the heart muscle, leading to osteomalacia, and in the future is increased severity of cardiovascular disease. With an excess of calcium may cause kidney stones, a violation of the state of water-salt metabolism, early calcification of bones in children. Researchers point to the characteristic of the disease in the population was using brackish water. This hypertension, gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer, chronic gastritis, cholecystitis, nephritis, and ischemic heart disease.

It was determined that oral dose for cadmium obtained using data of the Customs union regulation for milk leads to unacceptable carcinogenic and non-carcinogenic risk levels. Using results of clinical and epidemiological researches taking into account quantitative health risk assessment cadmium oral benchmark dose was offered. This benchmark dose can be used for derivation of cadmium acceptable daily intake and maximum permissible levels for cadmium in certain food products.

This report presents the results of sanitary water studies water sources Varzob River basin, where the water covers the needs of a large part of the population of the city of Dushanbe and nearby large and small settlements. During the life of the population living in the region is a significant pollution of water sources both organic and inorganic substances. Overloading reservoirs organic pollutants can lead to increased consumption of oxygen dissolved in water, and lead to strengthening of anaerobic processes and deterioration of organoleptic characteristics of the water and making unsuitable for use in domestic and drinking purposes without pre-cleaning and decontamination. AIR BARRIER DISTRIBUTION BOARDS OF BIOSAFETY TO PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT

Abstract
The system of monitoring combined extract and input ventilation during organization of works with pathogenic biological agents (PBA) is necessary for ensuring protection of the personnel and environment from harmful emissions. Stable ensuring optimum physical and hygienic air environment parameters (microclimate) using ventilation in PBA laboratories is an additional part of management of possible risks in the laboratories. An effective mode of safe aeration of microbiological laboratory is possible only by combination of hygienic requirements and parameters of thermal balance of the air environment taking into account thermo insulating characteristics of overalls, means of individual protection, including respiratory organs, specificity and intensity of the performed works with PBA. Use of biological safety boxes creates additional protection against harmful emissions in the laboratories and environment.

Actual problems of genetic toxicology and general approaches to assessing the genotoxic and mutagenic activity of environmental factors are considered. Modern methods of evaluation of organ specificity of mutagens, alternative methods of genetic toxicology are presented.

Abstract
This article highlights the effects of pyrimidine structure antioxidants: 5-hydroxy-6-methyluracil (oxymethyluracil) effect on the reparation of human lymphocytes. As a model to test the effect of reparations, the method of DNA - comets was used. It has been shown that lymphocytes after exposure to H2O2 (2min), followed by washing and incubation in medium with 70 µM oxymethyluracil for 20 minutes , there was a significant decrease in the average DNA content in the tail of the comet to 24.9 % (P=166.98, p=0.0001).

Abstract
In view of the latest achievements of biological chemistry, pharmacology and toxicology, information about a comprehensive methodological approach that can be recommended for studying the antioxidant activity of medications is presented. Experimental substantiation of antioxidant properties of the immunomodulatory medication “oxymethylurail” has been done. We have developed a concept of оxymethyluracil influence on the mechanisms of antioxidant protection and repair of damage in the activation of lipid peroxidation toxic factor. The authors suggest that the pharmacological correction of toxic damage caused by free radical processes, bringing the greatest success belongs to a metabolic type of action that can prevent hyperactivation of lipid peroxidation and suppression of antioxidant defense systems.

This paper highlights results of experimental tests on acute and subacute toxicity of a new herbicide “Vigosuron” KE during its diverse ways of entering the body. According to toxic values the product is regarded to be low toxic in terms of the pesticide hygienic classification. Based on the work carried out, Vigosuron, KE is allowed to be used in the Russian Federation with strict adhering to all hygienic and preventive measures.
