GENDER FEATURES OF NEUROTISM AND VEGETATIVE REGULATION IN YOUNG PEOPLE OF RUSSIAN NORTH

Bocharov M.I., Krivoschekov S.G., Anufriev G.N.

Abstract

Manifestations of emotional excitability, the vegetative status and regulation of the heart rhythm in inhabitants of the North of Russia, students (n = 1 370, 853 girls and 517 young men aged 17-22 years, the North Group) and inhabitants of the Polar region, students of Vorkuta (n = 138, 79 girls and 59 young men, the Polar Group) have been studied. There were determined: emotional excitability (ЕЕ) by means of the Russian prototype «Scale of Emotional Arousability» (Braithwaite, 1987), the heat rate variability on the basis of registration of 500 ECG cycles with use of the computerized complex «REO-32» (firm "Micar", Russia), direct and calculated parameters of the system haemodynamics. The EE analysis has shown that the girls were described by higher manifestations of general emotionality, expressiveness of anger, shyness, absence of emotions control and, in aggregate, emotional excitability in comparison with the young men. Bigger dependence of the EE level on prevalence of mechanisms of parasympathetic regulation for the girls, rather than for young men has been established. It has been shown, that the level of neurotism among the youth of the Far North was stipulated not only by the gender dependence, but also by the north-latitude dependence.

PREVALENCE OF IODINE DEFICIENCY AMONG WOMEN OF REPRODUCTIVE AGE AND CHILDREN AGED 6-59 MONTHS IN THREE COUNTIES OF KAZAKHSTAN

Beisbekova A.K., Ospanova F.E., Aimbetova G.E., Tolysbayeva Z.T., Turdunova G., Tokesheva S., Amantayeva G., Kalmakova Z., Sharmanov T.S., Grjibovski A.M.

Abstract

Iodine is one of the most important and most studied, among the many essential trace elements, the lack of which has a negative impact on human health. Kazakhstan has more than ten years' experience of universal salt iodization. In this context, the aim of this work was to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions for the prevention of iodine deficiency in sentinel populations in Akmola, East Kazakhstan (EKO) and South Kazakhstan oblasts (SKO). Methods. In cross-sectional study, which was conducted in July-August 2012 were randomly involved women of reproductive age (n = 250) and their children up to 5 years (n = 250) of Akmola, EKO (n = 256, n = 256) and SKO (n = 203, n = 203). The severity of iodine deficiency was assessed according to the criteria recommended by WHO. The content of iodine in the salt was regulated according to the normative and technical documentation of Kazakhstan. Results. Significant proportion of pregnant women in EKO 56.3 % (95 % CI: 33, 2-76, 9) and SKO 45.8 % (95 % CI: 27,9-64,9) has the level of urinary iodine below normal. Among non-pregnant women in all three studied areas there is a mild iodine deficiency, however, was detected excessive levels of iodine in 38.8 % (95 % CI: 32,2-45,7) non-pregnant women and 34.7 % (95 % CI: 28,4-41,5) children of the Akmola oblast. Determining the level of iodine in the salt consumed in the same households where urinary iodine was evaluated in women and children, to a certain extent reflects the tendency of the interdependence of consumption of iodine salt and its excretion in the urine. Discussion. In view of the situation identified as iodine deficiency and regional differences should be established for monitoring IDD urinary excretion (as high, normal, lower values). Put on a constant periodic basis the state system of monitoring the quality of iodized salt produced on all levels.

SHIP GROUPS OF SPECIALIZED MEDICAL CARE: HISTORY OF CREATION, POSSIBILITIES AND IMPROVEMENT PROSPECTS

Mosyagin I.G., Popov V.A., Pleskach V.V.

Abstract

The paper has described the history of formation of the system of organization of medical care and treatment of surgical patients and victims on surface ships of the Navy in the conditions of distant voyages. A comparative analysis of the structure of surgical disease incidence of military men and operative activity on surface ships during distant voyages within the Soviet and Russian periods has been done. Special attention has been given to specificity of organization of medical care and treatment of patients and victims during anti-pirate activities of surface ships of the Navy of the Russian Federation in the Gulf of Aden. Ways of improvement of surgical treatment on ships of the Navy of the Russian Federation have been proposed.

MICROECOLOGICAL STATUS OF UPPER RESPIRATORY WAYS MUCOSA IN TEENAGERS LIVING IN TOWNS WITH CHEMICAL INDUSTRY

Nesmeyanova N.N., Sosedova L.M.

Abstract

The complex studies on assessing the microecological status of the upper respiratory ways (URW) have been performed in schoolchildren of senior classes living in centers of chemical industry. Some features of adaptive-compensatory responses of the immune system have been determined. The result analysis of the microecological and immunological studies of the respiratory tract allowed to detect inhibition of the respiratory ways colonizational resistance, changes in the qualitative properties of the microorganisms, decreased local immunity of URW and common organism resistance. Disorders of the microecological status of the teenagers' respiratory ways mucosa in body disadaptation can result in development of clinically pronounced pathologies and aggravation of the respiratory organs' diseases.

STUDY OF INFLUENCE OF SOCIO-DEMOGRAPHIC CHARACTERISTICS OF WORKERS ON JOB SATISFACTION (the case of the Czech Republic)

Cabelkova I., Kiseleva L.S., Strielkowski W.

Abstract

This paper has presented an analysis of correlations between job satisfaction, socio-demographic characteristics of workers and workplace relationships using the example of the Czech Republic. Our results have shown, that personal income, workplace relationships (including occupational safety) were positively and significantly related to job satisfaction, while age and gender were related only to an indicator mapping the job type. In addition, we have found that Czech entrepreneurs appeared to be satisfied and appreciating their jobs what indicated strong self-selection for doing business in post-transition economies. However, the human capital expressed by the level of education did not prove to be a significant factor for job satisfaction, meaning that well-educated people might not be satisfied with their jobs or feel that their education and experience were wasted in the market economy.

SYNERGETIC BIO-PSYCHO-SOCIO-SPIRITUAL CONCEPTION OF SOCIAL EPIDEMIC OF ONCOLOGY DISEASES

Sidorov P.I., Sovershaeva E.P.

Abstract

Oncology diseases (OD) are multiple-factor and polygenic diseases, they lie in one of the first places in the disease structure, disability and mortality prevalence. There has been proposed the synergetic OD conception including three prenosological fractals: predisposition - an oncogenic family, latent - oncogenic diathesis, initial - precancer, and three nosological fractals: a full-scale clinical picture, chronization and an outcome. The multidisciplinary team medico-psycho-socio-spiritual program of preventive-correctional and medical-rehabilitation aid has been grounded.

SYSTEM ANALYSIS OF INTEGRATION PROCESS IN PSYCHOTHERAPY

Vinokur V.A., Novikova I.A.

Abstract

The review has presented an analysis of modern tendencies in the development of integrative psychotherapy, the merits and risks of this process. Factors that contribute to the development of integration in psychotherapy are: a steady increase in the number of different therapies, which are often difficult to discern from each other; the lack of viability of any individual psychotherapeutic model or theory for all problems and patients; "pressure" of socio-economic factors. In the article, there has been used the methodology of a system approach to understanding of integration in psychotherapy and its possible consequences from the point of view of psychotherapy efficiency, in particular, difficulties in delivery of integrative psychotherapy, prediction and assessment of its effects.
