APPLICATION OF BIOFEEDBACK IN MEDICAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL REHABILITATION OF MILITARY WIVES

Kivorkova A.Y., Soloviev A.G., Boev I.V.

Abstract

In the article, there have been classified the results of the study of psycho-physiological parameters of military wives being in conditions of socio-traumatic situations for a long time, taking into account the identified constitutional-psychological personal traits. An assessment of effectiveness of psycho-physiological regulation and psycho-correction methods with use of biofeedback (BOS) has been presented. For monitoring of the electroencephalogram amplitude options as well as providing data on neuromuscular and autonomic activity in the form of binary, analog, auditory and visual signals BOS, there was used the biofeedback complex "BOSLAB." It has been found that the women who underwent medical and psychological rehabilitation showed positive dynamics of psycho-physiological indicators in the form of the increased amplitude of the alpha rhythm, the reduced theta activity and level of electromyographic voltage. There have been singled out specific features of the alpha rhythm indices corresponding to neurotic and neurosis-like disorders. It was registered that together with the described alpha-theta changes, psycho-emotional state of the subjects also changed - symptoms of depression and anxiety disappeared, nocturnal sleep quality improved. It has been shown that the bio-adaptive control helped to activate psycho-physiological mechanisms of self-regulatory behavior, psychological self-adaptation including complex cognitive and emotional mechanisms for task-oriented action in long-term socio-stressful situations.

LIPID PROFILE AMONG THE POPULATION EXPOSED TO RADIATION FROM SEMIPALATINSK NUCLEAR TEST SITE, KAZAKHSTAN

Markabayeva A.M., Kerimkulova A.S., Pivina L.M., Rakhypbekov T.K., Apsalikov K.M., Ospanova A.S., Grjibovski A.M.

Abstract

Many studies have explored associations between radiation exposure and cancer among atomic bomb survivors in Japan, Chernobyl rescue workers, workers of nuclear industry in Germany and in a historical cohort of people who were exposed to the radiation from the Semipalatinsk nuclear weapons test site in Kazakhstan. Non-cancer consequences of radiation exposure have been less studied. We identified a few publications on associations between radiation and cardiovascular diseases, but most of them were conducted in Japan among Hiroshima and Nagasaki survivors and their offspring. In this population-based cross-sectional study (n = 1 755) we assessed associations between equivalent radiation dose and blood lipids among population of East Kazakhstan and Pavlodar regions who permanently live in close proximity to Semipalatinsk nuclear weapons test site. We studied total cholesterol, low- and high density lipoproteins as dependent variables across quartiles of the equivalent radiation dose using multiple linear regression with adjustment for gender, smoking, alcohol consumption, body mass index and region of residence. We observed significant positive association between equivalent dose and total cholesterol and low density lipoproteins, but not high density lipoproteins. Our results contribute to the understanding of the mechanisms between low dose radiation exposure and cardiovascular diseases

ROLE OF HEALTHY WORKER EFFECT IN EPIDEMIOLOGY OF ARTERIAL HYPERTENSION OF MINERS

Maksimov S.A., Skripchenko A.E., Artamonova G.V.

Abstract

Using the example of 1 553 workers of coal mines and 2 266 workers of "non-mining" professions (the group of control), an analysis of a role and features of the HWE (healthy worker effect) in prevalence of AH (arterial hypertension) was carried out. The study results showed rather low prevalence of AH in the miners and low specific weight of persons with AH of the third degree among them, what gave evidence of the HWE against the expressed adverse working conditions of miners. The minimum values of relative risk of AH in the youngest age groups of the miners and its increase with age indicated that preliminary professional selection in employment is the main mechanism of the HWE realization in the miners. The HWE caused a later age increase in systolic and diastolic pressure (respectively 6 and 10.3 years later) among the miners as well as AH progress (12.4 years later) in comparison with the control group.

ECOLOGY OF CHILDHOOD: FACTOR OF CULTURE, EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE OF TEACHERS

Wagner I.V., Tkacheva A.N.

Abstract

A culturological perspective of problems of ecology of childhood; approaches to formation of a problem field of childhood ecology in the context of development of ideas about the phenomenon of childhood and its transformation in the global world conditions, importance of cultural factors, education and professional competence of teachers in ecologization of childhood space, implementation of subjective potential of childhood in the big cultural creativity process on the basis of eco-cultural values have been grounded. It has been emphasized that environmental problems are not limited to the problem of childhood, environmental security, which in themselves are paradoxical (the need to protect people from the consequences of the environmental crisis generated by them). The problems make obvious the need to find causes of environmental problems in human culture and society, and their solution - in formation of a new cultural code based on interiorization by personalities and society of ecocultural values, their ecological culture.

SYNERGETIC BIOPSYCHOSOCIOSPIRITUAL CONCEPTION OF MENTAL EPIDEMIC OF ISCHEMIC HEART DISEASE

Sidorov P.I., Sovershaeva E.P.

Abstract

Ischemic heart disease (IHD) is a burning mental epidemic of the contemporary world. At the maximum level of generalization, it can be considered as a stress-producing mentality trap of singular reality. IHD requires development of a multidisciplinary approach to etiopathogenesis and clinical findings, preventive-correctional and medical-rehabilitation aid. There has been proposed a synergetic conception of IHD including three prenosological fractals: predisposition - a cardiogenic family, latent - cardiogenic diathesis, initial - the neurocirculatory dystonia of the cardiac type (cardiac neurosis), and three nosological fractals: an onset, chronization and an outcome. There have been grounded mechanisms and pathogenesis of the trajectory of an IHD pandemy development on a four-dimensional model that allowed to measure and prognosticate resources of somato- and psycho-, socio- and animogenesis. There has been given a multidisciplinary program of aid.

ASSESSMENT OF READINESS OF MEDICAL SCHOOL GRADUATES TO PSYCHO-EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES

Vasilieva E.Y., Tagaeva T.V.

Abstract

This article describes a method of assessment of readiness of graduates of the medical school to psychological-educational activities based on the factor-criterion model. The model included cognitive, motivational, activity and personal factors and criteria which characterize them. The coefficient values of each factor and the criteria were determined by the Delphi method. Comparison of the criteria with use of the proposed method with the criteria of actual state allowed to perform maximally objective comprehensive assessment of readiness of the graduates to psychological-educational activities. The article has presented the quantitative and qualitative results of the Medical University graduates' self-preparedness for psychological-educational activity. It has been found that the overall level of preparedness of the graduates of the Faculty of General Medicine of the Northern State Medical University to psychological-educational activity corresponded to the nominal level. The teacher's personal example, direct contacts with patients in the course of training at the Medical University, the increased number of hours in the curriculum for studying of the psychological and educational aspects of the "doctor-patient" interaction at the clinical departments have been determined by the graduates of the Medical University as the main factors influencing quality of training for implementation of psychological-educational activity of future doctors. The assessment results can be a basis for correction and improvement of the content, forms and methods of psychological-educational training of future physicians.

LIPID AND CARBOHYDRATE METABOLISM OBSERVED IN ABORIGINAL AND EUROPEAN STUDENTS HAVING DIFFERENT TERMS OF RESIDING IN TERRITORY OF MAGADAN REGION

Averyanova I.V., Maximov A.L.

Abstract

In the paper, the results of the study of lipid and carbohydrate metabolism examined in aborigines, migrants and those 1 and 2 generation Caucasians born in the North were under consideration. It has been found that, the lipid metabolism values were within the range of the accepted norm, but significant differences between the examined groups were observed in the series of its indices. The aboriginal subjects' lipid profiles were characterized as less atherogenic. More than 30 % of the examinees had a high level of glucose in their blood, what could be considered as a risk factor of steady prediabetic states or even Diabetes II progress.

CHAOTIC DYNAMICS OF CARDIOINTERVALS IN THREE AGE GROUPS OF INDIGENOUS PEOPLE OF UGRA

Garaeva G.R., Eskov V.M., Eskov V.V., Gudkov A.B., Filatova O.E., Khimikova O.I.

Abstract

Human ecology deals with a very important issue of life expectancy of indigenous people and new comers of the northern parts of the Russian Federation. The faster the northern territories are developed economically and industrially, the higher importance of prolongation of working age of new comers in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Area - Ugra and the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area is. There are four possible variants of new comers' life prolongation. Through the example of three age female groups of indigenous population, there has been considered the problem of dynamics of changing heart rates. In phase space of states, increased volumes of quasiattractors are equal to intensive physical activity. It has been proposed to use the regularity of these volumes' decrease for assessment of human aging dynamics in the North.
