COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF MORPHOFUNCTIONAL INDICES IN RESIDENTS OF EUROPEAN NORTH AND RUSSIA NORTH-EAST

Sukhanova I.V., Vdovenko C.I., Maximov A.L., Markov A.L., Solonin I.G., Boiko E.R.

Abstract

During the Project "Mars-500" in months-long examination, 17 residents of Syktyvkar and 18 residents of Magadan were examined. A number of common morphological and physiological methods of study and the hardware and software complex "Ecosan-2007" were used. It has been established that the highest tension in hemodynamics reaction was characteristic of the residents of Magadan living in more extreme climatic conditions and, to a greater degree, it was more pronounced in winter (increased systolic BP and total peripheric vascular resistance) along with formation of a correlated structure of these indices. The peak tension of functional state in the residents of Syktyvkar was observed in summer and was characterized by the increased heartbeat, diastolic BP, the decreased heart rate, display of dysadaptation, increasing centralization between parameters of hemodynamics and the heart rate. Seasonal dynamics of morphofunctional indices was more pronounced in the residents of Syktyvkar.

CROSS-CORRELATION BETWEEN PSYCHOPHYSIOLOGICAL STATE, STRESS AND PROVISION WITH CHEMICAL ELEMENTS IN FIRST AID SERVICES EMPLOYEES

Kuzmenko A.P.

Abstract

The article has presented the results of a survey of 54 healthcare workers of a first aid station (FAS) in Khanty-Mansiysk including psychophysiological examination, determination of stress hormones in blood and content of chemical elements in hair. It has been found that doctors and paramedic visiting teams had a low level of subjective comfort and were highly exposed to stress negative effects. Analysis of cortisone and adrenaline concentrations in blood was high in more than a third of the examined persons. In more than a half of the FAS medical field force, there has been found deficiency of different degrees in provision with vital chemical elements responsible for psychoemotional sphere, namely, magnesium and potassium.

ATMOSPHERIC SUSPENSES OF THE KARAKANSKY COAL SECTION OF KUZBASS: PARTICLE SIZE ANALYSIS

Golokhvast K.S., Kupriyanov A.N., Manakov J.A., Nikiforov P.A., Chaika V.V., Gulkov A.N.

Abstract

In this paper are shown the results of granulometric and material investigation of nano-and micro-particles of atmospheric mist containing in the snow collected in Karakan mining site (Kuzbass) in the winter of 2011-2012. For comparison we have chosen the selection station in the Kuzbass Botanical Garden of Institute of Human Ecology SB RAS. The use of a laser particle analyzer is shown for the study of the qualitative and quantitative composition of the sediment precipitations. The distribution of airborne particles of different sizes and origins in areas with high anthropogenic pressure and the conservation area was detected.

CRYOTHERMAL TRAINING EFFECT ON STUDENT FUNCTIONAL CAPABILITY LEVEL IN EARLY TRAINING PERIOD

Mosyagin I.G., Lobozova O.V., Ivanov A.O., Beskishkiy E.N.

Abstract

Use of cyclic cryothermal influences in the mode (3-5 minute stay at the cryothermal chamber at -140...-160 °C 1 time per day, every other day, the total number of sessions 10) is an effective means of emergency and long-term expansion of the body functional capability in first-year students and cadets with difficulties of adaptation and acclimatization. The result of the method use was increased maximum volume of physical work performed, optimization of physical activity vegetation provision, acceleration of regeneration processes in the body. The data obtained allow to recommend widespread use of the method in the system of measures of physiological optimization of the process of professional integration of students, cadets and other categories of persons working in stressful conditions.

RESOURCES AND LINES OF MENTAL PREVENTOLOGY

Sidorov P.I.

Abstract

An overriding mental preventology mission in a healthy lifestyle integration and moral purpose of life has been justified in the article. The following instruments and factors of mental resilience were accentuated: neuroplasticity and spirituality, music and signing therapy, dance therapy and physical therapy, somnology and sexual management. A polymodal formula for happiness and multiple logistics of the destiny path abbreviated to SINAPS have been suggested. Major lines of mental preventology have been systematized.

METHOD OF ASSESMENT OF LIVING STANDARDS AND SOCIOECONOMIC STATUS OF TB PATIENTS IN ARKHANGELSK REGION

Bogdanova E.N., Balancev G.A., Nikishova E.I., Eliseev P.I., Maryandyshev A.O., Gospodarevskaya E., Squire S.B.

Abstract

The article has described a unified methodology to assess the living standard and socioeconomic status (SES) of TB patients taking into account national and regional peculiarities and to work out approaches to further recovery of their living standard and improvement of their social well-being. This methodology is based on creating of the Integrated Welfare Index as a combination of monetary income, housing conditions and durable household assets as well as private estate to rank TB patients into three SES subgroups (absolutely, relatively poor and well-off). This methodology can be applicable to patients with other severe chronic diseases. The article has provided an example of approbation of this methodology in assessment of the SES of 112 patients with diagnosed MDR-TB in 2011-2012 in the Arkhangelsk region within the Project «PROVE IT LPA» of the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease.

EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE AS A MEANS TO IMPROVE MEDICAL EFFICIENCY OF HEALTHCARE

Svetlichnaya T.H., Zueva H.J., Vilova K.H.

Abstract

The review has presented the results of a comparative analysis of methodological approaches to study of emotional intelligence and application of coping-strategies worked out on their basis in order to improve medical efficiency of healthcare. Both in our country and abroad in recent years in the wide-range debates about the limit of medical efficiency reached by the healthcare system, special attention is paid to the problem of improvement of its functioning effectiveness. However, national and foreign medical researchers focus mainly on justification and development of methods of optimization of primarily economic aspects of the system's activity. Instead, the problem of medical effectiveness of health care goes far beyond the limits of economic analysis possibilities and requires use of conceptual approaches of other social disciplines.

COMPARISON OF QUANTITATIVE DATA IN TWO PAIRED SAMPLES USING STATA SOFTWARE

Subbotina A.V., Grjibovski A.M.

Abstract

In this paper we have presented basic principles of analysis of quantitative data in two paired samples. Examples of normality testing, calculating paired t-test both manually and using the STATA software have been given. We have also considered assumptions for using paired t-test as well as the main principles of presentation of the results in scientific publications. The article has given only basic information on the use of t-test in research and it does not substitute reading specialized literature.
