ENVIRONMENTAL AND MEDICAL PROBLEMS ON TERRITORIES OF NEW SIBERIAN DEVELOPMENT

Rukavishnikov V.S., Efimova N.V., Donskih I.V.

Abstract

The article has described an urgent current problem of changes in environmental quality on the Siberian developed territories. The original materials illustrating the problem have been represented using an example of industrial development of the Priangarsk districts of the Irkutsk Oblast and the Krasnoyarsky Krai. The relative risk of children’s morbidity in the zones of the aluminum production increases by 1.4-1.7 times based on the materials of the social-hygienic monitoring, the nature observations and the results of the numerous experiments using mathematical models. The experience obtained is recommended to be taken into account in preparing programs of social-economic development of the northern regions of Siberia.

SHIFT WORKERS ADAPTATION STRATEGIES IN THE FAR NORTH

Korneeva Y.A., Simonova N.N., Degteva G.N., Dubinina N.I.

Abstract

Shift work in the Far North produces higher requirements for adaptive capabilities of workers. As a result of professional work in shift workers, there are formed adaptation strategies represented by four basic types. Determinants of their formation are the environmental and personal resources in the context of the adverse effects of the environment. The paper presents differences in the adaptation strategies of shift workers of diamond mining, logging and oil and gas production facilities in the Far North.

EFFECT OF PHYTONCIDIN (GARLIC PREPARATION) ON CELLS OF MICE KIDNEY TISSUE IN CULTIVATION IN VITRO

Pashchenko V.P., Gromova L.E., Chernyshova E.E.

Abstract

With the goal to establish a direct effect on resiliency of organisms’ cells, there was studied the effect of garlic preparation Phytoncidin on growth of mice’ kidney tissue cells in their cultivation in growth medium 199 with fetal serum and without it. It has been established that in the set span of concentrations, Phytoncidin delayed formation of cell colonies and their growth all the way to a complete stop of their formation.

GALLBLADDER’S SMOOTH MUSCLE TRANSFORMATION DURING DEVELOPMENT OF ACUTE ACALCULOSE CHOLECYSTITIS

Zashikhin A.L., Lubeznova A.Y.

Abstract

We have investigated reactivity of the smooth muscular tissue (SMT) of guinea pigs’ gall bladders in dynamics of acute cholecystitis development. Complex morphological, histochemical and immunohistochemical analyses have been carried out. During the disease development, the study has shown increased inflammatory phenomena of the mucosa in all parts of the gall bladders and a successive increase of the collagenic and elastic components of the intercellular matrix. The immunohistochemical analysis has shown that positive reaction of the smooth muscle cells to collagen type 1 was identified on the 15th day of the experiment. Thus, experimental dysfunction of the gall bladders caused reactive transformation of the SMT in which there was observed suppression of protein markers and activation of collagen synthesis.

IMPACT OF AIR POLLUTION ON MORPHOLOGICAL STATE OF EYES AND CRYSTALLOGRAPHIC PICTURE OF RATS’ EYE SCLERA LAVAGES

Okonenko T.I.

Abstract

The electron-microscopic analysis of experimental animals’ eye tissues has shown that toxic effects of a diesel engine’s exhaust gases caused angiopathy and increased vascular permeability. In-parallel, there were formed compensatory-adaptive mechanisms, such as changes in the structure of the epithelium and fibroblasts. A crystallographic picture also changed: the rays extending from the center of crystallization became thin and fragmented.

CHARACTERISTICS OF MARRIAGES AND POPULATION REPRODUCTIVE INTENTIONS IN IRKUTSK REGION

Boyeva A.V., Leshchenko Y.A.

Abstract

The analysis of the results of the dynamics of processes of marriages and divorces has been represented in this paper and the population reproductive intentions in the Irkutsk Region have been characterized. The study materials testify an increased (from the beginning of 2000s) number of registered marriages and a high level of divorces (during 2007-201 1, the average index was 554.0 divorces per 1 000 marriages). About 40 % of children were born in “civil marriages” (unregistered marriages) or by single mothers each year in the region. The profound sociological studies of youth groups and adult population living in the towns of the Irkutsk Region have shown that most of the respondents were oriented towards formation of families with not many children. Among the interviewed “family” respondents, 64.5 % had one child, and 31.4 % had two children. Among the main causes preventing from realization of their reproductive intentions, the respondents noted financial and housing problems.

HEART CONNECTIVE TISSUE DYSPLASIA AND VASCULAR TONE IN SCHOOLCHILDREN’ EARLY SCOLIOSIS

Makarova V.I., Chernozemov V.G., Efimova N.V., Kraeva N.V.

Abstract

Injuries of the musculoskeletal system, in particular scoliosis, become the sphere of competence not only of orthopedists, but also of other specialists, since children have not only changes in the bone elements of the spine, thorax and pelvis, but also in the internal organs of the thoracic and abdominal cavities, cardiovascular, respiratory and digestive systems. Regulation of the heart and blood vessels is carried out by the autonomic nervous system, in which particular importance belongs to segmental vegetative centers, namely the sympathetic trunk, which is located on both sides of the spine. Deformation of the spine certainly violates innervation of the internal organs, particularly of the cardiovascular system.

INTESTINAL DYSBACTERIOSIS AND ENZYME SECRETORY FUNCTION IN INFANTS AFTER USE OF ANTIBIOTICS AND METHODS OF CORRECTION

Tochilina O.A., Chastoedova I.A.

Abstract

Microbiocenosis of the intestine and activity of hydrolytic enzymes in saliva and feces of infants treated with antibiotics have been studied. It has been established that 100 % of the examined children had intestinal dysbacteriosis of different degrees. After a course of treatment with traditional dry probiotics and liquid synbiotics with pectin, positive dynamics in restoration of the disturbed microflora was observed. It has been shown that during an analysis of dysbacteriosis correction effectiveness, it is desirable to carry out enzymological assessment of feces, which presents dynamics of restoration of functional activity of the intestinal normal flora.

MICROELEMENTOSES IN HUMAN PATHOLOGY OF ECOLOGICAL ETIOLOGY (Literature Review)

Alexander A.K., Boris M.M.

Abstract

The current state of knowledge on the contribution of certain trace element balance disturbances (TEBD) to ecologically-induced human disorders has been reviewed in the article. Our own research on the TEBD effects on human reproductive function has been described in brief. The considered research has shown urgency of determination of not only the total biosubstrate content of chemical elements, but also of their concentrations’ correlations. The issue of introduction of “bioinorganic” diagnostics into common clinical and epidemiological practice, especially for ecologically problematic areas, has been discussed.
