HUMAN ELEMENTAL PORTRAIT: MORBIDITY, DEMOGRAPHY AND PROBLEM OF NATION HEALTH MANAGEMENT

Agadzhanyan N.A., Skalny A.V., Detkov V.Y.

Abstract

The negative effects of anthropogenic factors (excessive intake of heavy metals, deficit of essential chemicals, adverse climatic and geographical conditions) contribute to reduction of health at individual and population levels. There is a relationship between the basic demographic indices of population of some regions and countries and provision with some essential macro- and trace elements. Moreover, not only the absolute population indices of chemical elements content in hair, but also the relative indices (frequency deviation from the norm) are important biomarkers of demographic status. In the article, a relationship between an exchange of macro-and trace elements and a number of demographic indices has been shown. For example, it has been shown that an increase in prevalence among the population of Fe, Al, K excessive accumulation in men and Cu, Co deficit in women with Mn imbalance at the background can be considered as a negative demographic prognostic factor. Furthermore, calcium-phosphorus metabolism as well as exchange of cobalt correlates with the level of fertility.

DESCRIPTION OF RISK FACTORS OF NON-INFECTIOUS MORBIDITY AMONG POPULATION OF SURGUT CITY

Loginov S.I., Tretyak A.S., Hodosova D.A., Umarov E.D., Batraeva M.V.

Abstract

The objective was to study behavioral risk factors of non-infectious diseases, such as physical activity (PA), smoking, food, use of alcoholic beverages in case of a sampled unity of permanent Surgut-dwellers. 2 256 people have been interrogated in an ecological-sociological research by means of telephone interviews. 2 000 people’s samples were processed - 1 000 men and 1 000 women of five age categories: 18 29 years, 30-39 years, 40-49 years, 50-59 and older than 60. Dependence (F = 50.274; p < 0.001) between the indicators of health and PA of the respondents, between PA and presence of children in a family (F = 45.549; p < 0.001) has been revealed. The PA level depends on education (F = 17.130; p < 0.001) and profession (F = 60.273; p = 0.012). Dependences between PA and a marital status (F = 1.128; p = 0.288) have not been revealed. Gender distinctions have not been revealed in PA (F = 2.903; p = 0.313), between PA and heart insufficiency (F = 1.376; p = 0.241), ischemic illness (F = 0.554; p = 0.457), smoking (F = 2.239; p = 0.265), myocardial infarction (F = 4.249; p = 0.047).

ANNUAL DYNAMICS OF CLIMATIC FACTORS AND POPULATION HEALTH IN KHANTY-MANSIYSK AUTONOMOUS AREA

Rusak S.N., Eskov V.V., Molyagov D.I., Filatova O.E.

Abstract

There has been presented an assessment of dynamics of environmental weather factors in the phase space of states in the framework of stochastic regularities and the theory of chaos using the author's programs and its correlation with indices of patients’ primary appealability concerning climate-sensitive diseases through the example of the City of Surgut. It has been found that the indices of the population appeals for climate-sensitive diseases had a close positive relationship with the value of the volumes of behavioral quasi-attractors of the meteorological parameters in the annual dynamics.

NEUROTOXIC EFFECTS OF MANGANESE OXIDE NANOPARTICLES BY INHALATION SUPPLY TO ORGANISM

Zaitseva N.V., Zemlyanova M.A., Akafeva T.I.

Abstract

This review discusses the analytical synthesis of molecular biological, biochemical, cytological and toxicological properties of the manganese oxide nanoparticles for inhalation into organism in the experiment. Systematization of scientific data provides a more complete view of negative effects arising from the inhalation of manganese oxide nanoparticles.

DIFFERENTIAL-DIAGNOSTIC CRITERIA OF COGNITIVE DISORDERS IN TOXIC AND DISCIRCULATORY ENCEPHALOPATHY

Shevchenko O.I., Katamanova E.V., Lakhman O.L., Denisova I.A.

Abstract

The character of disorders of higher mental functions in patients with toxic (mercury) and vascular (discirculatory) encephalopathy testifying a dysfunction of the subcortical-frontal systems which take part in regulation of cognitive functions has been shown in this work. Along with comparison of the disease clinical picture with the use of a discriminative analysis, there has been performed an assessment of the most informative correlations of the neurophysiological and neuropsychological indices allowing to use the differential approach to diagnostics of the brain injuries after exposure to neurotropic chemical substances and the vascular factor which in turn may promote a decrease in volume of paraclinical studies.

EFFICIENCY OF SOLUTION OF VISUAL TASKS WITH VARIOUS DEGREES OF UNCERTAINTY IN SENSORY ENRICHED ENVIRONMENT

Astashchenko A.P., Dorokhov E.V., Yakovlev V.N.

Abstract

In the article, there have been presented the results of audiostimulation effect as an environmental factor on psychophysiological parameters of personal decision making (time, errors) in young healthy subjects, as well as on autonomic parameters (heart rate) during visual identification of fragmented objects. Instrumental musical accompaniment with the rhythm of 60-70 beats per minute was more effective in solution of visual tasks under uncertainty. We suppose that it was associated with processes of increased synchronization of rhythmic activity in different areas of the brain and increased stress resistance. The reaction time of personal decision making and the number of correct answers were the main criteria of effectiveness of identification of fragmented visual stimuli in humans.

CLINICAL AND ELECTROMYOGRAPHIC CHARACTERISTIC OF NEUROMUSCULAR STATUS OF INFANTS WITH MOTOR DYSFUNCTION

Zaripova Y.R., Meigal A.Y., Malyavskaya S.I.

Abstract

We have studied the ante-, intra and postnatal risk factors as well as clinical and electromyographic (EMG) features of the neuromuscular status in infants with the motor dysfunction syndrome (MDS). The received anamnestic data has detected an extragenital pathology of mothers, peculiarities of the intranatal period and co-morbid factors. EMG analysis has shown that linear and nonlinear parameters in the group of the infants with the MDS differed significantly from the control group (the healthy infants). However by the end of the first year of life, the positive clinical and EMG dynamics showed high compensatory potential of the nervous system in early age and probable functional or transient character of the MDS.

DEVELOPMENT OF FETI AND NEWBORNS PANCREAS’ STROMAL COMPONENT IN HEALTH AND DISEASE

Ulyanovskaya S.A., Bolduev V.A., Basova L.A., Stukov N.V., Tyukhtina T.G., Chukhchin D.G.

Abstract

To identify characteristics of development of human pancreatic stroma in the fetal and neonatal periods of ontogenesis, we have conducted a cross prospective study of 208 pancreases of fetuses (16-40 weeks) and dead newborns. They have been divided into groups by age. Data were processed by methods of nonparametric statistics. It has been established that in pathological pregnancies, formation of the pancreas stroma components was interrupted. A reliable connection between collagen content and perinatal pathology development risk (r s = 0.145, p = 0.001) has been detected, as well as in the groups “collagen - age” and “collagen - cause of death” (r s = -0.184, p = 0.003; r s = -0.194, p = 0.005). In the group of cases caused by separate states, the content of collagen was significantly higher (p = 0.024). Conclusions: it is necessary to consider the risk of development of the perinatal pathology as one of the major factors causing overdevelopment of the pancreas stroma collagen, what reflects environmental impacts on the feto-placentary system.
