HEART RATE VARIABILITY STRUCTURE FEATURES IN PERSONS BORN IN MAGADAN REGION DEPENDING ON VEGETATIVE REGULATION TYPE

Maximov A.L., Loskutova A.N.

Abstract

390 senior schoolboys born in the Magadan region in the 1st-3rd generation aged 15-16 y. o. have been examined at rest to study 16 parameters of their heart rate variability. Based on the values of the index of tension (the stress index SI), the variation swing (MxDMn) and the spectrum total power (TP), the examined subjects were divided into three groups with prevalence of vagal, sympathetic or normotonic reactions of their vegetative nervous system. It has been found that the ranges of variability of the heart rate mathematical indices differed significantly depending on activity of the sympathetic or parasympathetic components of the nervous system, what conditioned methodically compulsory differentiation of the examinees according to the types of their vegetative regulation.

ECOLOGO-HYGIENIC PRECONDITIONS AND ENGINEERING APPROACHES TO MEDICAL WASTE MANAGEMENT

Shcherbo A.P., Mironenko O.V., Sushchy K.K., Kozyrin K.I., Soprun L.A.

Abstract

In the article based on authentic investigation and research, the problem of medical waste management, its social, ecologo-hygienic and epidemiological urgency have been described. The dynamics of establishment and content of the national sanitary guidelines and regulations of 1999 and 2010 (co-authors of the current article participated in development of several of them) has been followed up; based on international sources, there have been considered critical comments of experts to these documents; in order to be understood clearly, some of the guidelines provisions’ versions have been updated.

ROLE OF ESTIMATION OF EXPOSURE OF CHEMICAL CONTAMINANTS POLLUTING FOODSTUFFS IN ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY RESEARCH

Tsareva S.A., Krasnova V.P., Gryaznova M.V.

Abstract

There has been estimated exposure of chemical contaminants in samples of poultry of regional producers sold in one of the largest hypermarkets in Ivanovo. Food consumption was studied in a cross-sectional study using the method of 24-hour food reproduction. Priority pollutants of the samples of poultry meat forming the risk of development of non-carcinogenic and carcinogenic effects in the population were nitrates, compounds of lead, cadmium, arsenic and mercury. The exposure value estimated on the basis of the median values for nitrate compounds, lead, cadmium, arsenic, mercury constituted respectively 8.64х10 -2; 1.12х 10 -3; 1.12х 10 -4; 2.80х10 -4; 7.98х10 -6 mg/kg of body weight. The coefficients of risk (HQ) have been calculated according to the prevailing contaminants. A dependence has been found of the decreasing series of heavy metal contamination in poultry meat, which had the following distribution pattern: Pb→ As→ Cd→ Hg.

MOBBING SYNDROME: MENTAL ECOLOGY OF DESTRUCTIVE PROFESSIOGENESIS

Sidorov P.I.

Abstract

Mobbing has entered reference books as the syndrome including harassment and insult of employees in the workplaces for the purpose of constraint for dismissal. In the framework of the synergetic methodology, fractal dynamics of mobbing sociogenesis, psychogenesis and somatogenesis have been separated. Approaches to early diagnostics and prevention in the framework of the strategies of adaptive professiogenesis formation have been explained. A system approach to development of preventive-correctional and treatment-rehabilitation medico-psychosocial programs has been proposed.

CHANGES OF SETTINGS OF BRAIN BIOELECTRICAL ACTIVITY IN NORTHERN SCHOOLCHILDREN AGED 16-17 IN DIFFERENT AMBIENT LIGHT CONDITIONS

Gribanov A.V., Dzhos Y.S., Rysina N.N.

Abstract

A study of frequency characteristics of electroencephalograms (EEG) in high school students during increasing, maximum, decreasing and minimum duration of daylight has been conducted. In the paper, dynamics of the main EEG rhythms has been presented, their relationship with periods of daylight has been established. There has been revealed dominance of alpha and delta activity in contrasting seasons, periods favorable for the brain functioning and development of higher mental functions have been defined.

Kraynyukov P.E., Shvetsov V.K.

Abstract

138 patients with suppurative diseases of fingers were tested through applied kinesiology for imbalance in the meridian system. Acupuncture has been proved to be effective in complex treatment of panaritiums.

PREDICTORS OF SEVERE ANEMIA PROGRESS IN ELDERLY PATIENTS AFTER ORTHOPEDIC SURGERY

Borisov D.B.

Abstract

Anemia is associated with adverse outcomes after surgery, especially in the elderly persons. We have reviewed retrospective data on 435 elderly patients who underwent total hip or knee replacement to establish preoperative risk factors associated with postoperative anemia requiring red blood cell transfusion. The multiple logistic regression analysis was used to identify predictors of allogeneic blood transfusion. Independent risk factors for allogeneic blood transfusion were a low preoperative haemoglobin level, low patient’s weight, revision joint replacements and preoperative intravenous injections of tranexamic acid. Our data allow to assess the risk of postoperative severe anemia and to develop targeted intervention to decrease the risk.
